Working in the real estate brokerage and development business for 35 years, I learned that one’s success is determined by building long-term relationships. In Washington, the two-party system has pitted one side against another and in reality our government is in gridlock. Being able to communicate with people that have different opinions requires negotiation. I will use my negotiating skills to create solutions when I’m legislating. Another important part of my business was to surround myself with experts in different fields. Working together meant coming up with effective solutions. As your representative, I will bring the same approach that’s made me successful in business to Congress.
